Who runs linkwup

linkwup is run by Victor Fatunse in Finland. Write to [email protected].

What linkwup does

linkwup finds businesses and jobs that may suit you, and drafts messages, cover letters and CVs from what you tell us. You decide what to send. Messages sent from your mailbox go out under your name, and you are responsible for them.

Your account
  • You must be 16 or over, and 18 or over to buy a paid plan unless a parent or guardian agrees
  • You must give us accurate details
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in secure
  • One account is for one person
AI can make mistakes

Drafts, plans, cover letters, CVs and matches are written by AI. They can be wrong, miss the point of a posting, or read badly. Read them before you send them. Business and job details come from third parties and may be out of date or incomplete. If you switch on automatic applications, messages go out without you reading them first, and you use that feature at your own risk.

What you may not do
  • Send harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful or sexual messages
  • Send scams or blackmail, or pretend to be someone else
  • Put false facts in your profile or CV, such as jobs, qualifications or clients you don't have
  • Keep contacting a business or employer after they have asked you to stop
  • Share one account between several people, or open accounts to get round limits
  • Try to make the AI do something other than its job, or to get round our checks
  • Copy or resell the business and job data in bulk
Contacting businesses lawfully

Rules on unsolicited messages differ between countries, and they apply to you as the sender. You must follow the ones that apply to you and to the person you contact, including honouring opt-outs and not misleading anyone about who you are.

How we check

Every email sent from your mailbox through linkwup is checked before it goes, and messages that break these rules are not sent. We keep a copy of sent messages for 90 days (see privacy), and our staff and automated checks may review them and your account activity for misuse.

Plans and payment
  • Free is free. Paid plans are priced on the plans page and charged through our payment provider
  • Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel in Settings. You keep the plan until the period you paid for ends
  • You can also pay once for 30 days, which does not renew
  • You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment by writing to us at [email protected]
  • Paid plans have fair-use limits, which are listed on the plans page
Your content

What you put into linkwup stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it, including with AI providers, to provide the service to you. We do not use it for advertising or sell it.

What happens if you break these terms

Depending on what happened, we may warn you, pause sending from your account, or suspend it. Serious cases, such as threats, may lead to immediate suspension. If you think we got it wrong, reply to the email we send you or write to [email protected].

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms or that has been unused for a long time, and we will tell you first where we can.

Availability and liability

We work to keep linkwup running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free. We are not responsible for the outcome of a message, application or meeting, or for decisions made using what linkwup shows you. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law, and disputes are heard by the courts of Finland. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email before it applies.
